Registration & Fees

How to register?

Registration for the conference should be done through the online registration system. All participants and accompanying persons must register for the conference. Registration is limited and on a first come first served basis. Early registrations are due on 16 March 2009. The late fee will be automatically charged if your payment has not been received by 16 March 2009. Alterations to the registrations will only be accepted in writing. Please contact the Congress Secretariat preferably by e-mail as soon as possibly.


Upon receipt of your registration form and payment or credit card details, the Congress Secretariat will confirm your participation in the conference. You will receive a formal confirmation in due course.

Registration fees (in Euros)

Early registration (until 16 March 2009):  € 490,-
Late registration (from 16 March 2009 onwards):  € 540,-
Accompanying person’s registration:  € 240,-

The registration fee includes: Early Bird Reception, Welcome Reception, Gala dinner, lunch and coffee breaks during the conference, admission to all scientific sessions, all congress materials, EAA membership fee of € 50,- for 2010 and administration costs.

We are happy to receive accompanying persons with the delegates to Tampere. The registration fee for accompanying persons includes Early Bird Reception, Welcome Reception, Gala Dinner, and the administration costs.

Methods of payment

Please follow the instructions given on the online registration form regarding payment of the conference fee. All payments must be made in Euros. Payments should be made in advance (before 1 May 2009) by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Eurocard).

Admission to the meeting is granted only if the Congress Secretariat has received the registration fee.

Cancellation policy

In case you are unable to attend the meeting, a substitute delegate is welcome at no extra charge. The original participant should provide a letter of authorization together with a letter of cancellation to the Congress Secretariat before 1 May 2009. This information should include the name of the substitute delegate. All cancellations must be made in writing (post, fax, e-mail) to the Congress Secretariat.

Refund registration fee

In case of cancellation before 15 April 2009, you will have to pay 50% of the total amount you have registered for. For cancellations on or after 15 April 2009 there will no refund and the full amount will remain due.

Delegates who do not cancel and do not attend, will still be responsible for the full registration fee.

The organization reserves the right to alter the venue if necessary. If an event is cancelled the organizers shall not be responsible for the travel, hotel or any other costs incurred by the registrants. Speakers and programme agenda are subject to change.
